World Poetry Day

I bet you did not know that I like poems. I like when mamma reads them or sings them to me.

Poetry expresses feelings in rhythm something the books she often reads us does not. She also uses a different pitch, a distinctive style in her voice when she recites them.

This is why I was excited to share with all of you that today is World Poetry Day.

Maybe you will take time today to write a poem, or to revisit one you read some time ago and liked.

Today I enjoy the many pillows in my house.

It has been a very long time since I have caught a mouse.

My brother Pasqua doesn't seem to mind.

As long as there are sun puddles to find.

Have a blessed Sunday, Readers.

Poetry is when an emotion has found its thought and the thought has found words. - Robert Frost.

Wishing you a pot of gold, and as much joy your heart can hold.

Happy St Patrick's Week to all of you!

As you may have read here before, when Italian-American males are named Pasqua or Pasquale, their nickname very commonly is Pat. So we like to think our little Pasqua is truly blessed as we can celebrate him along with St Patrick this week. ☘

Isn't he just the cutest?

I am pretty cute too, I mean - look how I wait patiently for mamma to come down stairs:

As you go through your week, we hope you reflect upon this Irish blessing:

Always remember to forget
The things that made you sad.
But never forget to remember
The things that made you glad.

The inspiration of March!

Spring officially begins this month - we have to wait until the 28th! Daylight savings begins a little earlier - on the 14th. The weather in March can be surprising, does ma need a coat or not? Very confusing.

As the season changes from winter to spring, it is the perfect time to think about all the things that inspire us. Reflect on all the challenges we faced this past year, and everything we overcame. How did we do it? What inspires you?

There is a lot to celebrate in March, and if you cannot think of anything - here is a list of days you can use to create more inspiration and fun: March Holidays 2021.

Pasqua patiently waits for the snow to melt so he can truly welcome spring.

Expect great things,

It was one of those March days when the sun shines hot and the wind blows cold: when it is summer in the light, and winter in the shade. - Charles Dickens, Great Expectations.
